Starcast Online Acting Coach, Professional Practice Mentor & LAMDA Instructor
She has worked for a variety of schools and performing arts schools over the last 6 years including Starcast Performing Arts Schools and her own school Cherry Blossom Arts.
She has taught people from 3 years old to adults in their golden years and has worked with students who have no experience to those who are working successfully as professional actors.
Other teaching & work
She also own a production company ‘Cherry Blossom Productions’ which offers an inclusive and positive platform to those who are working in the creative industry and collaborating on work for digital media, fringe and stage.
She is also joint owner of a theatre company ‘Blue Chrysalis Productions’ which was founded at East 15 Acting School with 2 talented actresses Catarina Grangeon and Christina Leitner. They are passionate about creating work that shines a light on subject matters deeply affecting our society.
Training
Originally trained as a ballet dancer, Rebecca turned to acting later and has taken training at East 15 Acting School, The International Acting Studio, The Hub Theatre School, The Poor School & Sylvia Young Theatre School & has an MA in Acting, a BA (Hons) Degree in Theatre Arts, an HND in Physical Theatre & a ND in Performing Arts.
Since graduation
Since leaving drama school she now take Meisner classes with professional actor and theatre director James Barnes and continues to study acting under the instruction of American actor & Chubbuck Technique coach Adam Davenport learning the famous techniques of Uta Hagen & Ivanna Chubbuck also taking classes in Alexander Technique under the instruction of Joe Alberti & Genoa Davidson. She also took classes with ‘The Real Life Actor’ Jeff Seymour.
Rebecca believes theatre & performing arts training to be an integral part of human development for all aspects of life. She always encourage all the people that come to train with her to celebrate being themselves and works hard to inspire & nurturing more confidence and creativity from within them.
